Abstract
This study has considered a careful compilation of biotic, abiotic and anthropogenic management data of the Natural Protected Areas of Ecuador (PANE). It aims to create a new space to analyze and discuss the relationship between themost interesting variables in protected areas usingmultivariate analysis tools, a novel techniques to simultaneously analyze complex and abundant data groups.This paper shows the results of this analysis, discussing both the natural richness and the problems of the different protected areas of Ecuador.
