«Alteridad» accepts original and unpublished articles that are not being evaluated by another publication. The regulations on presentation, structure, extension, forms of citation, anonymization of documents and the process of sending are downloadable (here).
All manuscripts submitted to «Alteridad» for evaluation must be accompanied by a cover letter signed by all authors. The model of this document can be found in this link and must be filled in, signed in and attached on the "Supplementary Files" section of the OJS.
Before sending the original through the platform, we ask that to confirm compliance with the regulations of the journal through this checklist.
The articles must be sent exclusively through the OJS platform. The procedure requires all authors to register, although only one will be responsible for correspondence. Two or more articles by the same author will not be reviewed simultaneously.
Authorship: The list of authors signing must include only those people who have contributed intellectually to the development of the work. Collaboration in the collection of data is not, by itself, a sufficient criterion of authorship. "Alteridad" declines any responsibility for possible conflicts arising from the authorship of the works that are published.
Copyright: The Salesian Polytechnic University preserves the copyrights of the published articles, and favors and allows their reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Ecuador license. They may be copied, used, disseminated, transmitted and publicly displayed, provided that: i) the authorship and the original source of their publication (journal, editorial and work URL) are cited; (Ii) are not used for commercial purposes; Iii) mention the existence and specifications of this license.
