Abstract

This project is about a system of dust extraction and dust dispersed in the packaging department of animal feed mill, located in Ecuador, our primary aim is to reduce the incidents of health risks for workers and damage to machinery. First meeting the current regulations on the environment, then the study of pollutant particles, speed of capture and transport in pipelines is verified; based on these parameters, the most suitable dust collecting system is selected and the fan power that allows sucking the dust without capturing the granulated product, the Fan CASALS software is used to reduce the concentration of particulate matter is calculated atmosphere. Based on the results of fluid dynamic design, it is expected that captured particles can be transported within the pipe system at a constant rate and the concentration of dust in the environment is reduced to allowable levels.
