Modelación y Simulación en ambiente Ecosimpro de una Cámara de Secado para Cacao

Abstract
En este artículo se presenta el sistema de ecuaciones utilizado para describir el modelo físico de una cámara para secado artificial de cacao. El modelo corresponde a un secador cilíndrico rotatorio equicorriente y se considera solamente la cámara de secado. Las ecuaciones de conservación de masa y de energía junto a algunas correlaciones obtenidas como resultado de ensayos experimentales se han implementado en un componente ensamblado en la plataforma de EcosimPro. Finalmente, se realiza un análisis de las curvas de masa, humedad y temperatura, obtenidas luego de realizar una simulación durante 10 horas de operación del sistema.
